On June 6, 2024, Goodley McCarthy attorneys filed a class/collective action unpaid overtime lawsuit against Eustis Cable Enterprises LTD, a large, nationwide cable installation company based out of Vermont. Plaintiff Brent Forney worked on cable installation projects in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. He was paid on a piece rate basis (e.g., based on the amount of cable installed), but was not paid time-and-a-half when he worked more than 40 hours a week. Forney seeks to represent all piece-rate field workers who worked in the United States during the past three years.
